A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. Cookies let a site
remember things between page loads — what is in your cart, which currency you chose, or
simply that you have already dismissed a banner. Similar technologies include local
browser storage (such as localStorage) and pixels used to measure whether
an email was opened.
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
ws_cart_v1 |
Stores the items and quantities in your cart so they survive a page reload | Strictly necessary (local storage) | Until you clear it |
ws_currency_v1 |
Remembers the currency you selected so prices stay in that currency on your next visit | Strictly necessary (local storage) | Until you clear it |
| Session cookie | Maintains your session while you browse, and protects forms against cross-site request forgery | Strictly necessary | Session |
| Analytics cookies | Aggregated measurement of which pages are visited and how the site performs, so we can improve it | Analytics | Up to 26 months |
The two local-storage entries above are what keeps your cart and your currency choice working. They are set without consent because they are strictly necessary for the site to function as you asked it to. Everything else is set only after you consent.
When you use the enquiry form on the contact page, your message is passed to your own email application — we do not store your enquiry in a third-party form service.
If you proceed to pay for an order, the payment institution handling the transaction may set its own cookies or use similar technologies for fraud prevention and regulatory checks. Those are governed by the payment institution's own policy, and we do not have access to them.
We do not embed advertising cookies, we do not run retargeting pixels, and we do not share your browsing activity with advertising networks.
Every major browser lets you view, delete and block cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will mean your cart does not persist between pages and your currency choice resets each time you visit.
If you would rather not have analytics cookies at all, using your browser's tracking protection or a content blocker achieves the same result.
Where consent is required — which in practice means the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland — we ask for it before setting any non-essential cookies, and we do not set them if you decline. You can change your choice at any time by clearing cookies for this site and revisiting the site, which will show the consent prompt again.
